To my beloved brothers and sisters,

As St. Paul says: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I sit writing this message in the middle of a glorious summer day. However, I find it is a day that is filled with anxiety and distress. In the past few months there have been numerous questions asked of me concerning the state of the world and the persecutions that are taking place against Christians, not only in other parts of the world but increasingly within our own United States. This has led people to wonder if what is happening is a foretaste of the coming of the Lord in glory to judge the living and the dead. There is great fear associated with the “end times”. I have even found people who no longer wish to work because they feel that the great battle between good and evil is already taking place and the “rapture” will be here before their work can be completed!

Let us be clear about the coming of the Lord. Is he going to come? Yes. Is he going to come soon? Yes. When? We do not know. He will come like a thief in the night, when we least expect. If someone tells you the day or hour, do not believe them, for no one knows the day and hour except God alone! How can I prepare for his coming? This is a question that has had people worrying since the earliest days- for the Christian. Its answer is quite a time of joy! For it is on that simple and quite difficult day that Satan will be thrown down and we will stand before the judgement.

The answer is that we must give to our God in worship and praise, give ourselves totally to God, in awe and wonder, in perfect believe in the salvation of peace and joy, wrought through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and so, my sisters and and live our lives as faithful brothers, grace to you and followers of the Lord, holding peace from God our Father and to the truth of the Scriptures the Lord Jesus Christ! Come, and living “seeing him more Lord Jesus!
